Medical emergencies that happen on the job can be treated promptly, conveniently and cost-effectively at one of University's Occupational Medicine Center locations. These centers strive to provide comprehensive and efficient health care for area employers and their employees. Treating injured workers in a timely manner means less down time on the job. Independent, private physicians at the Occupational Medicine Centers help injured employees return to work as soon as possible. Injury management and follow-up care are just two of the services offered by the centers.
Other services available at either location include minor injury treatment, post-offer/pre-employment physicals, annual physicals, specialized physicals (DOT), drug and alcohol screenings, physical therapy, speech and hearing services, physician consultation, laboratory work, vision testing, X-ray, fitness-for-duty evaluations, electrocardiographs and pulmonary function testing. Both locations also offer community education space and a retail pharmacy.
