University Hospital Driver Serves as Georgia State Senate ‘Chaplain of the Day’

AUGUSTA, Ga. – March 27, 2008 – Kenneth Clay, a driver for Distribution Services at University Hospital, served as Chaplain of the Day recently in the Georgia State Senate. The Rev. Clay, who serves as Senior Pastor at New Creation Christian Church, was nominated for the honor by State Senator J.B. Powell of District 23.

The Rev. Clay challenged senators with his message “Does anyone really care?” and encouraged them to show true concern and compassion for the people and communities they serve.
