University Health Care Gains National Marketing Recognition
AUGUSTA, Ga. -- June 16, 2008 – University Health Care System has been honored with three 2008 Aster Awards for excellence in medical marketing.
The awards are:
- A Gold Award for the organization’s 2007 Breast Cancer Guide magazine
- A Gold Award for the hospital’s 2007 “Everything a Hospital Should Be” television campaign
- A Silver Award for the 2007 campaign billboard design
The Aster Awards is an elite competition recognizing the nation’s most talented healthcare professionals for excellence in advertising hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today magazine and Creative Images, Inc., an international firm specializing in strategic healthcare marketing for more than 16 years.
Participants in the Aster Awards compete against similarly sized organizations from across the United States. Judging criteria include creativity, layout and design, typography, production quality, knowledge transfer and overall excellence.
A Best of Show Trophy, Judge's Choice Awards, as well as Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates are granted to winning entries exemplifying excellence.
Amy Winn, director of Corporate Communications for University Health Care System, expressed pleasure in receiving the awards.
