University announces new Director of Volunteer Services
AUGUSTA, GA. (May 26, 2010) -- Caroline T. Thomas has joined the University Health Care System team as Director of Volunteer Services. Ms. Thomas previously served as the Executive Director of United Way of Laurens County in Clinton, S.C., and she was also a Senior Vice President for Provident Community Bank in Union, S.C.
She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C., and she attended the South Carolina Bankers School at the University of South Carolina and the School of Bank Marketing and Management at the University of Colorado.
Her husband John Thomas is Director of Public Safety for North Augusta. They have two children, Jessica, 28, who lives in Shanghai, China, with her husband Keith, and Adam, 18, who is a student and member of the baseball team at North Greenville University. They live in North Augusta and are members of First Baptist Church of North Augusta.
