FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
University Nurse Named Georgia Hospital Association G.R.E.A.T. Ambassador
Augusta, GA— Lynne Giles, RN, Emergency Department, was recently named University Hospital’s G.R.E.A.T. Ambassador for 2011.
A program of the Georgia Hospital Association, this designation celebrates and showcases the commitment and caring that hospital employees bring to their job, community and to the Georgia health care industry. The G.R.E.A.T. Ambassador Program, which stands for Giving Recognition for Excellence, Advocacy and Teamwork, provides hospital employees the opportunity to tell their personal stories about how they chose a health care profession, why they like their job and what they like about working for their hospital.
Ms. Giles was chosen by a committee of her peers to be University’s representative for 2011. Her story, along with those of other hospital ambassadors, will be published on the Georgia Hospital Association’s website, www.gha.org.
