About Our Practice

Identifying patients with traditional and non-traditional risk factors for heart attack and stroke is key to helping prevent these potentially deadly attacks. Once patients with cardiovascular disease are identified, aggressive treatment can begin, which can include lifestyle modification; state-of-the-art medical therapies; or invasive or non-invasive procedures. When surgery is needed, our cardiologists work with University’s cardiothoracic surgeons to provide seamless care.

Recovering from a major cardiovascular event is vital to ensuring patients stay healthy, which is why University’s heart and vascular physicians work with our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program to help patients strengthen their hearts and regain their sense of stability – both physically and mentally.
