Patient Assistance

Piedmont Augusta Foundation provides financial support each year to our financially qualified patients. We allow patients to focus on healing and relieve the stress of how to pay for medicines, a mortgage, or even transportation to appointments.

Scholarships & Continuing Education

Piedmont Augusta Foundation is proud to fund scholarships for qualified employees who choose to further their health care education. The Foundation also has specific endowments that pay for continuing education costs for employees. Having the best educated and trained employees is a priority for Piedmont Augusta and Piedmont Augusta Foundation.

Piedmont Augusta Foundation has raised millions of dollars to support the strategic needs of Piedmont Augusta as they arise.

Capital Campaigns

• Knox Dennis Heart & Vascular Institute: $7.7 million raised (campaign completed 2010)
• Orthopaedic  & Spine Center Renovation: $700,000 raised (campaign completed 2015)
• Women’s Center & Mom’s Milk Bank: $220,000 raised (campaign completed 2018)
• Emergency Department Renovation: $5.3 million raised (campaign completed in 2019)
