Drink Your Veggies Green Smoothie

We always hear “eat more vegetables” but the best way to increase fruit and vegetables in our diet may be to drink more vegetables, here is a delicious green smoothie to get you on your way!

¾ cup original soy milk
½ cup fresh or frozen pineapple
1 small ripe banana, or ½ large banana
½ cup shredded carrot
1 cup fresh kale or spinach, lightly packed
1 tablespoon flaxseed

Add the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Start blender on low and gradually increase to high and blend until a smooth texture is obtained.
