With an overall mission to improve patient health, University focuses on the entire spectrum of care, including prevention, emergency or urgent care and rehabilitation or long-term care. We have four facilities that offer round-the-clock care and support to residents, whether rehabilitation is the goal or life care. Brandon Wilde – Our 106-acre campus includes apartments and lakeside cottages, as well as a number of amenities for residents onsite. This campus specializes in assisted living care, skilled nursing and dementia care.
Kentwood Extended Care – The Kentwood facility includes private rooms for short-term rehab and long-term placement, as well as in-house specialists in physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Westwood Extended Care – Located at our Evans Campus, the Westwood Facility provides short-term and long-term care, with a focus in orthopaedic & cardiac rehab, Alzheimer’s care, geriatric rehabilitation and more.
Amara Extended Care – Located in South Augusta, University Extended Care Amara is a 213-bed skilled nursing center offering acute, long-term, respite and hospice care services. Amara’s services include 24-hour nursing care and full rehabilitative services in addition to a dedicated Alzheimer’s/dementia unit.
