Brandon Wilde is part of University Health Care System and is operated by the Augusta Resource Center on Aging, Inc., a private and non-profit corporation. It is governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors composed of leading citizens, business executives, and representatives of the University Health Care System.
Brandon Wilde is pleased to offer a new concept in early stage Dementia Care to the community—The Windsor House. This state of the art assisted living setting allows residents to go about their independent daily routines in a safe, secure and relaxed family environment. Twenty-five private suites are connected to a commons area where residents are engaged and stimulated through homelike activities and innovative programs designed for optimal living. Resident-centered care partners provide individualized personal care so that residents can maximize their physical and cognitive potential.
The Colonnade at Brandon Wilde is a personal care setting for residents who require assistance with the basic activities of daily living. Specially chosen and trained LPNs and nursing assistants provide residents with the day-to-day care they require. The availability of Brandon Wilde's full complement of programs and resources allows residents to pursue and maintain an active lifestyle with dignity and independence.
Pavilion & Arbor
The Pavilion provides residents with the highest level of skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services available in our area. Comprehensive inpatient care is available on a long or short-term basis. The licensed nursing staff comprised of RNs and LPNs exceeds state-mandated standards for delivery of resident care. The Arbor is a specialized long-term memory care setting for those with more advanced stages of dementia. The diversity of the planned activities program encourages individual expression and enrichment of each resident's mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
Brandon Wilde offers rehabilitation services on an extended or short-term basis through our partner, Aegis Therapies, which employs certified physical, occupational, and speech therapists who work exclusively with our residents or outside referrals on a full-time basis. In addition, a convenient walk-in type clinic in the Health Center lobby is open weekday mornings for minor first aid or other concerns.
