University Health Care System Takes Top Honors in Local Advertising
AUGUSTA, GA, Feb. 23, 2019 – University Health Care System received six awards, including “Best of Show” at the American Advertising Federation – Augusta Awards held Feb. 23 at the Marion Hatcher Center.
University was awarded “Best of Show” for its “1818” 60-second TV commercial chronicling the storied health system’s 200-year history as part of its year-long bicentennial celebration in 2018. The “1818” commercial also received the top award, a Gold ADDY, in the categories of “TV spot 60 seconds or longer” and “cinematography."
Other awards included a Silver ADDY for the invitation to an event featuring former U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice, a Silver ADDY for University Health Care Foundation’s Miracle Mile Walk social media campaign and a Bronze ADDY for University’s “Your Health is Our Legacy” hardbound book produced in honor of their 200th anniversary.
AAF Augusta is a local affiliate of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 advertising professionals. The group is part of a national network of over 200 clubs across the country.
