Prompt Care is here for when you and your family need treatment for urgent health care needs. Prompt Care is a walk-in facility with no appointment necessary. You may see a board-certified Prompt Care physician, a physician's assistant or a nurse practitioner for conditions such as minor cuts, sprains, infections, sore throats, broken bones, intestinal complaints, insect bites, etc.

How quickly can I expect to be seen?

It is our goal to see and treat patients as quickly as possible. However, during peak hours of operation and when acute patients are being treated, wait times may be longer than usual. Patients with extreme situations (cardiac problems, severe lacerations, etc) who arrive during hours of operation will be seen immediately.

Putting the needs of our patients and their families first is our number one priority. We try to keep these needs in mind in every aspect of how we manage our facilities and deliver the highest quality health care possible. Fees and Payment Procedures

  • Prompt Care files insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients.
  • All payments are ultimately the responsibility of the patient.
  • Since Prompt Care is not an emergency room, all claims will be filed as regular office visits.
  • All office copays are required during registration at the time of your visit.
  • Self-pay patients are required to pay in full upon dismissal.
  • Major credit cards are accepted.
  • Full payment is required for insurance when deductibles have not been met. All others will be required to pay expected percentages upon dismissal.
  • Prompt Care is not a Medicaid provider.
  • Prompt Care cannot file insurance for out-of-state residents unless they have Medicare.

What services are available?

In addition to the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, outpatient lab and X-ray services are available on-site. Physicians at Prompt Care will also perform school sports physicals.
